Nice Hotel. I came to Detroit for the IMSA and IndyCar race at Belle Isle. The hotel doest look that fancy from outside but the rooms are pretty nice, i actually was surprised.
The best place to go. I loved it here. No complaints from me and the jacuzzi rooms are nice. A little small but i like it
The hotel is a little older, but the decor is nice oh, the people are friendly, and the room is well stocked. However I can't find a trash can anywhere, LOL. I hope I don't need one. The mattress is a little hard but the linens are new looking and in good condition plug access is good by the beds. They provide soap as usual, along with little bottles of shampoo lotion and conditioner. It's a nice little place in downtown Detroit, however the parking spaces are extremely narrow, and I do not see but one handicapper parking place in the parking lot. That's a bit of a disappointment. I am disabled and having to go down half a flight of stairs carrying luggage is very uncomfortable, painful actually. If I ever come back this area to downtown Detroit I'm sure I will stay in this hotel again. Easy access to DMC and the hospitals! Easy access to the Canada bridge and tunnel, Cobo Hall, Joe Louis Arena, and other attractions. Great location. Nice accommodations overall I would come back.
Nice cozy little place if you go on the right days. It has a swimming pool and a few restaurants nearby. They've upgraded the outside but I would love to see them upgrade the bathrooms and carpeting. So a little decorations on the wall get rid of the old drab lamps. The customer service and the desk clerks are awesome they are very friendly and very happy to accommodate you. But now this is 2019 you have to upgrade please.
The staff was nice Tom checked me in, the room was clean, everything worked and I gave it a 4star because the room really needs a update but other than that my stay was great!
I don't know why the reviews for this hotel are bad. My room was clean, the bedding was new, the shower had warm water, and I didn't feel unsafe at any point (even in the parking lot.) The rooms are older, but they're clean and comfortable. It is downtown and costs almost $100 less than any of the 4 star hotels. This is not a 4 star hotel, but if you're a traveler that doesn't require superficial fancy stuff, this will be fine for you. I plan to stay here again any time I need to stay in the area.
Best Juggalo friendly Hotel in the D. If your going to see a clown show and dont want to be bothered with the uppity hotels, give this place your business. They welcomed us with open arms and hot coffee in the morning.
I love this place, it's not to pricy, it's close to all the fun of downtown Detroit, the staff are real nice, and the rooms are clean. It is the official JuggaloTel! Can't get any better.
